The Role:
Onshore till March 2019 moving offshore on a 3/3 rotation

The role of HSE Advisor (HSEA) will be to support and guide the Project Team on all aspects of health, occupational safety, industrial hygiene and HSE performance management issues through each stage of the project.

The applicant should have proven expertise in:
* The development of HSE aspects of projects in the oil and gas industry or related industries, e.g. chemical
* Experience of contract evaluation and management, specifically ongoing contractor performance management.
* Knowledge and experience of operational HSSE is essential, incorporating good knowledge of topsides and subsea facilities, pipelines and controls
* Construction Site HSE Management with knowledge Skilled in the application of Microsoft office systems
* 5+ years working in projects HSE delivery
* 8+ years working in both offshore and onshore operational / construction site environments

Preferred Qualifications and accreditations:
* NEBOSH Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (working towards),
* Root Cause Analysis / Causal training,
* ISO Auditing qualification,
* Active membership of the appropriate professional body. i.e. IOSH, IIRSM.
* Valid offshore survival and MIST

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:
* Ability to motivate, organise, lead and ultimately deliver HSE requirements
* Build successful working relationships in a multi-cultural environment
* Communicate ideas effectively to a varied audience in a succinct, clear manner (written, conversational and presentation skills)
* Show by experience to effectively mentor and coach personnel
* Ability to influence through persuasion and relationships is essential to being successful in this role
* Works with minimal supervision or as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Capable of managing multiple and multi-functional projects. Contribution has significant impact to operations/projects.

* Good inter-personal and leadership skills.
* Good team player but also self driven and a proven achiever
* Good communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentation)
* The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary matrix team is essential
