The Role:
* Coordinate delivery of HSE deliverables, support and assurance of FPSO and cleaning yard HSSE management, and support/provide guidance to the offshore safety coaches and contractor teams
* Develop, maintain and execute an HSSE & SP Activity Plan appropriate to the risks and long term objectives of the project
* Participate in reviews/support delivery of the schedules to ensure HSE aspects have been captured and completed
* Attend cleaning yard management meetings to assist and offer support from an HSE perspective and to ensure compliance
* Communicate daily all HSE activities (audit findings, near-miss reports, incidents, etc) and feedback to the project management team
* Effectively lead the HEMP process to ensure fit for purpose solutions for the project
* Support and challenge the Project Management Team to build an authentic leadership culture to deliver Goal Zero and Respect for people
* To successfully deliver Goal Zero, the HSSE&SP functions need to work collaboratively to build trust and commitment in the Project Management Team to help drive ownership and deliver results
* Form a team from the HSSE&SP functions that role model behaviours that help drive credible, competitive and affordable projects
* Ensure delivery of Behavioural Safety - Inclusion, Care & Engagement
* Review and comment on Contractor HSE documentation in line with standards
* Monitor and report on project HSE performance/Maintain and review HSE records and statistical information
* Promote the use of the safety observation system
* Coordinate and assure incident investigations, maintain oversight of incident reporting, investigations and close-out actions.
* Ensure effective implementation of LOD1 for decom activities
* To work in accordance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (HSEMS), Legislation, Codes, Standards and Procedures
* Remain abreast of legislative requirements. HSEA will attend offshore management meetings to assist and offer support from an HSE perspective and ensure compliance. HSEA will also attend departmental TBT's and safety meetings to assist the facility to achieve Goal Zero. HSEA will regularly monitor ongoing work scopes to ensure operations are being delivered safely and as planned.
* Support the delivery of Behavioural Safety - Inclusion, Care & Engagement. Safety/ICE meetings will be held offshore and roadmap goals/aims/targets will be chosen by the facility. HSEA is to offer full support and assist in development and implementation of ICE coaches ideas for improvement.
* To act as an ICE coach to project, operations and contractor personnel
* Support the delivery of the project HSSE&SP Activity Plan
* Support the development and delivery of the integrated asset and project HSE Plan (covering CSSS roadmap activities)
* Develop and deliver HSSE onboarding, induction and "starting strong" program
* Comment and Review of Contractor HSE documentation in line with standards
* Utilising the Step Change in Safety (SCiS) Safe Working Essentials toolkit and observation system - a system for recording observations and unsafe conditions. HSEA to support OIM and Heads of Department (HODs) to ensure learnings based on trends are disseminated. HSEA to ensure actions are SMART and closed out as soon as practicable with feedback given to offshore teams.
* Support and advise at planning stages (Worksite visits/Audits/P-Vision development/ Project and Safety Review etc)
* Develop HSSE audit schedule, regularly monitor to ensure compliance through auditing/advising/intervention and feedback into management systems
* Undertake a facility wide approach as well as Project Specific to ensure safety is integrated into all facility departments supporting operational efficiency
* Assist in generating procedures/standards to maintain and update the HSEMS
* Where appropriate, HSEA will advise OIM and Project Manager in developing any platform / site specific policies or procedures
* Monitor and report on HSE performance
* Provide training in HSE subjects to Company personnel as required by HSE Lead/Project Manager
* Maintain and review HSE records and statistical information

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Monday to Friday role, with time spilt between office in Aberdeen and site in Dundee (rough guide 50/50 split)
