The Role:
The purpose of the role is to lead the planning and execution of the flushing and disconnect of two subsea fields, including integration with subsea well P&A, as a prelude to final decommissioning works.

Key responsibilities include:
* Be a safety leader in support of delivering goal zero
* Produce project management deliverables and manage the execution of the flushing and disconnect scope for two subsea fields
* Assist with the selection and management of contractors
* Support development and execution of commercial agreements with 3rd parties
* Management of interfaces with Wells, Subsea PM's, Asset teams and 3rd party hosts
* Strive to comply with Shells 8 project principles
* Ensure there is a strong project control framework in place, including C&P, Project Services, HSSE etc.
* Drive efficient execution
* Drive cost reduction

Technical Skills
* Experienced Project Engineer with strong project management and technical skills.
* North Sea offshore experience with subsea fields
* Performance focus - commercial mind-set, agility and a focus on delivery/performance
* Cost leadership - Role models and promoters of spend it like your own
* Ability to take responsibility in an empowered organisation - taking charge and learn by doing
* Pro-active in delegation - promoting frontline taking-charge and making-decisions and supporting them
* Integration - willing to lead, integrate across functions and problem solve
* Innovation / Learning mindset - doing things differently (simplified, efficient worked practices) and/or new technology application [NB not reinventing wheels!!]
* Demonstrable stakeholder management skills both internally and externally - ability to learn from and influence
* Qualifications: Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

Soft Skills
* Good inter-personal and leadership skills.
* Good team player but also self driven and a proven achiever
* Good communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentation)
* The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary matrix team is essential.
