The Role:
Duties:
* Evaluate Well Logs for petro-physical properties to determine saturations, porosity and net pay.
* Prepare Wellbore Schematics and perform Boundary Volumetrics, Decline Analysis and Static Material Balance
* Process temperature and rate data.
* Tune friction and PVT parameters to match flowing conditions.
* Examine the well's pressure and rate response in order to set up triggers for thermal and pressure transients.
* Import and process pressure, rate and temperature data, analyze build-ups, drawdowns and 2-rate tests.
* Provide technical support to our clients in the US and internationally whom are using ODSI's software.
* Field Studies to determine possibility of interference and communication between the zones
* Well log study for optimal hydraulic fracturing design
Requirements:
BS in Petroleum Engineering (or related engineering degree)
10+ Yrs Reservoir Engineering experience (both operator/client)
Experience working in the Gulf of Mexico - strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with multi-disciplinary team
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet project deadlines
Must be detail oriented
Self-starter and able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to Executive-level audience
Experience using database, engineering, and geoscience software, including: Aries, tNavigator/Eclipse, Kappa, PetroVR, OFM, Harmony or Spotfire.
