The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Allocation Technical Lead to join the team on a long term contract.

The Production Allocation team provide on time and trusted production data to support the Company's operational, financial, commercial and legislative requirements. The team supports Production Planning & Market Liaison (PPML) forecasting, off-take, optimisation and integrated planning functions. Working as part of the Company's central Allocation team, you will provide guidance and oversight to the operations and technical delivery of the Company's Production Allocation systems as well as drive requirements for the allocation system, measurement through to reporting.

The ideal candidate will understand allocation, with some digital IT background with production knowledge through engineering or commercial and know how to map out business processes, end-to-end.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Fault-find and resolve production data issues within Energy Components and Oracle
  • Support the Production Allocation engineers in the delivery of Daily operational processes, improvement initiatives and system modifications
  • Provide analysis and insights to support Operations
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams and manage diverse stakeholders including Engineering, Business Units, Reservoir Operations, and Investor Relations
  • Support functional excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of production data processing

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience developing configuration for Energy Components and Oracle database systems
  • Experience with business reporting systems (e.g. Business Objects, P2 Explorer, Jasper Reports)
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality, accurate and robust analysis, including relevant insights, to inform decision making
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
