The Role:

Seeking a technical specialist of JIRA and Confluence applications to develop, maintain and administer to ensure performance, availability, reliability and integrity for Projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Interpret business needs & requirements and analyse the systems working environment- Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimise/improve/translate them to JIRA setup and work-flows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
  • Maintain test plans, perform system testing and identify solutions.
  • Work closely with team members, service providers and software vendors- for delivery of system extensions and related services.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation.
  • Install, manage and administer JIRA and Confluence add-ons, plugin and extensions.
  • Interact with and guide support vendors for user support and troubleshooting.
  • Management of other reporting and collaboration tools in engineering environment.
  • Creating and maintaining Confluence spaces and template designs
  • Providing assistance in the management and support of integrations between tools in our development landscape, including but not limited to: SAP and the DRIMS2.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with JIRA & Confluence as a System Administrator
  • Object-Orientated and/or scripting programming language experience (Groovy/Java preferred)
  • Experience in the use, administration and development of agile methodology projects for JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with SQL database & language, IIS and web programming.

Desired Qualification:

  • Understanding of AGILE methodology/process, OO/scripting programming language and relational databases.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness during major change
  • Customer focused
  • Experience in setting up ongoing procedures to collect and review information need to manage ongoing activities
  • Past experience in Information Manipulation from diverse sources.

This is a 12 month contract with the possible view of being extended.
