The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Product Specialist to start on a 24 month contract, based in Melbourne with occasional Perth travel. Reporting to the Cyber Product Lead, the role will cover a key technical and control domain in the areas of infrastructure, cloud, identity or endpoint.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build a strong technical understanding of the specialised domain
  • Ensure that tactical and strategic opportunities are identified, planned for and executed
  • Build a strong understanding of all gaps and opportunities and ensure these are clearly documented and transparent across all stakeholders
  • Remediate tactical gaps
  • Build relationships with vendors
  • Ensure the product capabilities are uplifted in line with new functionality so as to allow an ever increasing ability to protect, detect and respond to cyber incidents

Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company with a global presence playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.They are one of the worlds leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Soft skills required to interface with technical service lines
  • Domain expertise in one of the 4 below areas:
    • Infrastructure: Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, zScaler, Illumio
    • Cloud: AWS, Azure
    • Identity: Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD
    • Endpoint: Microsoft Defender ATP, Windows 10
