The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company with a global presence playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.They are one of the worlds leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:

As a technical specialist in network field services, you will be tasked to coordinate network improvements on the clients Operating Assets and facilities and lead execution of activities in a safe and timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Analysing and understanding business and customer requirements to frame and produce a detailed technical project delivery plan - including HLD, LLD, Resource and Hardware Estimates, Schedule, Execution and Change plan.
Conduct project management activities including opportunity scoping, planning and design in preparation for the construction and delivery of projects.
Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure quality and control of scope, budget and schedule and all relevant project governance requirements (incl. Risk, Compliance, Management of Change, Handover to Operation Support etc)
Ensure project status and performance is managed and reported on a regular basis to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for and where required too, be part of the "hands on" project delivery team for onsite/offshore network installations.
Provide governance and assurance across the portfolios projects to ensure successful execution
Responsible for developing relationships across Digital and with customers to enable successful delivery of network projects.
Provide input and advice to Remote Operations, IoT and Technology stakeholders regarding future solution assessments and selection
Working with the Enterprise Network Architect to provide input into Field Services Architecture, Strategy, Roadmaps and Blueprints.

Skills & Experience:

Strong technical understanding in Network Architecture and System Integrations - Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security + Voice.
5+ years' experience co-ordinating projects and/or Network Operations
Experience with integrating and operating layer 2 carrier infrastructure - Microwave, Fibre, Satellite services, and/or 3rd party telco carrier services (desired, not required)
Experience with safety critical telecoms systems - PAGA, RADAR, CCTV, Radio (desired, not required)
Strong in both project delivery and break fix Environments
Information Technology/Management-related Degree or equivalent qualification
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP minimum) or Equivalent Industry Certifiaction
