The Role:
* To ensure the safe and efficient execution of subsea completion and intervention activities (including LWI) in accordance with Standards and Procedures.
* To provide onshore planning and preparation of client and Contractor subsea equipment prior to mobilisation (includes SIT). Recommend appropriate back-up and contingency equipment requirements.
* To assist with the preparation of CTR estimates for subsea activities and complete work within budget.
* To provide subsea input to detailed completion and intervention procedures.
* Provide support and planning associated MODU/LWI subsea interfaces.
* Participate in technical limit exercises (such as complete the well on paper, intervene the well on paper, etc) to critically review susbea procedures and identify efficiencies / optimisations.
* To supervise the subsea component of susbea completion and intervention activities.
* To report daily operations and manage well records including coordination of subsea tree and related contractor reports.
* Provide input to well status diagrams and handover documents.
* Conduct 'After Action Reviews' to capture operational learnings and ensure these are transferred to the appropriate D&C documentation (CoG, hazard registers, etc).
* Ensure subsea equipment is refurbished / repaired and preserved in accordance with approved procedures at the end of job.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualifications in a Mechanical Engineering based subject City and Guild / Scotec / Higher National Certificate or equivalent. Degree well regarded.
* 8+ years subsea operations experience with particular emphasis on the installation and intervention of subsea tree systems (VXT & HXT). Experience with LWI activities.
* Experience with Subsea Controls as used on Workover Systems (pure hydraulic and electro/hydraulic).
* Current Solas / HUET certification as recognised by client Nopsa.
* Good working knowledge of subsea completions, workover and intervention operations.
* A sound and demonstrated knowledge of well control operations during completions and workovers.
* Good communicator able to work with Subsea and D&C teams, asset representatives and Woodside contractors.
