The Role:
Purpose:
Planning Specialist is responsible to plan and schedule the effective and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance (PM & CM) activities. The role also provides collaboration with the CMMS specialist for preparation and follow-up planning and interface with the Technical Authority departments for achieving the common goal for Maintenance and other functions throughout the field lifecycle.

The role will also support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator to set planning budgets, CMMS targets and timelines for execution activities.
Key responsibilities areas:
Daily contact with Off/Onshore sites and other departments to ensure plans are tracked and reported. Highlighting and offering solutions to problems
Develop action plans to continually improve maintenance process and execution, plant integrity with relation to HSE, cost saving and equipment reliability
Co-ordinate and support the execution of major and non-routine maintenance and improvement jobs on the operations site
Lead maintenance preparations for minor plant shutdowns to include scopes of work, spares, resources, tools, etc
Co-ordinate and Support the third party business mobilisation and plans working in collaboration with others Operations department.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator with the control and delivery of all relevant planned maintenance activities in accordance with Eni HSE Policy and Procedures, to meet business targets, throughput, planning, reliability and satisfy customer requirements
Support the Maintenance Support Co-ordinator, in synergy with the Technical Planning department, to ensure the Major and Asset Integrity related work and/or breakdown activities are prioritised, resourced and planned appropriately to meet the integrated plan
Monitor performance measures and report compliance; identify appropriate interventions as required for the department
Develop in synergy with Technical Planning department the shutdown schedules, incorporating approved business forecasts, field development projects, and maintenance strategies.
Prepare plans for complex work, rotating equipment programs and routine outages (train outages, maintenance campaign programs and field outage)
Support day by day the Offshore and Onshore Planners and Scheduler in effective and accurate planning (28 days and 90 days site plans)
Accountable for Maintenance department monitoring of backlog/forward logs and ability to facilitate 90 Day Planning meetings, rough-cut planning meetings, weekly backlog/ forward log review meetings when necessary
Liaise with Technical Authority to optimize Critical Equipment maintenance.
Maintain planning & reporting processes and procedures incorporating all functional team activities to allow safe execution of work scope, minimisation of production downtime and optimise use of resource.
Support the Responsible in liaison with the Maintenance Manager for scheduling (Maintenance and Non-maintenance) actions, tasks and activities at site and offsite to identified individuals
Preparation of ISP planning Campaign and Satellites Maintenance Campaign

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering degree or relevant equivalent experience
Familiar with the use of SAP/MS Project programs
Be well acquainted with the operational methods and details related to daily activities of a maintenance engineering office supporting both on and offshore operational facilities
Extensive experience in planning and control of multi-disciplinary activities
Knowledge of planning and controlling budgetary aspects of work
Knowledge of contract management requirements

Required Competencies:
Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects
Good working of software applications, such as MS Office, SAP, MS Project, CMMS
Deep knowledge of maintenance process and projects investment process
Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, negotiation & influencing skills
Attention to details
