About our client:
On the Danish continental shelf, our client operates 16 fields from 50 offshore platforms and 246 wells (98 producing) and 5 processing hubs, including 3 permanently or partially manned treatment centres.
Responsibilities:
The jobholder:
* Demonstrates personal commitment to the Company's HSE Policy.
* Ensures Material Masters are maintained in respect of Company rules, including HSE rules, internal procedures and applicable legislation.
* Ensures stock availability by regular stock replenishment and the update of stock levels jointly with technical administrators
* Ensures the maintenance of the Material Master Records in SAP, both for Stock and non-stock materials.
* Checks and monitor stock requisitions, approve stock requisitions until 25.000 USD and make sure that stock owners are validating the more expensive items.
* Ensures consistency between SAP and physical stock by reporting Physical Inventories and participating in annual stock counts, including stock held at vendor premises.
* Validates the Material Request form prior to sending it to the Central Cell.
* Ensures stock movements by the warehouse staff are done in line with applicable operational and accounting procedures.
* Ensures that obsolete stock is identified and disposed in accordance with the applicable procedures.
* Ensures the good administration, filing and update of all the documents in SAP or the central drive.
* Ensures that all approvals, justifications, circulation forms, etc... are filed in line with the applicable procedures.
Context and environment:
* The jobholder has to deal with the technicians on the various departments and the relevant technical managers. The position of the jobholder is a key function in controlling the stock levels.
* In the current economic situation, the main role of the jobholder is to challenge the internal requestors with respect to the need for stocking the material. Optimising the stock has to be done in a continuous balance with delivery times.
Accountabilities:
The jobholder is accountable for:
* Providing accurate stock data, which must be valid, accurate and up-to-date.
* Ensuring the buy-in of the Technical Administrator (TADM) in the maintenance of the stock data, with respect to technical material description, certificates, MRP parameters, etc…
Qualifications/Experience required:
The incumbent must have:
* Bachelor degree and relevant experience (minimum 2-5 years) within Oil & Gas operations.
* Relevant educational and/ or operational background in technical purchasing and logistics.
* Knowledge of procurement scope and processes in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
* Commercial awareness, ability to compare and assess the commercial strength of technical quotes.
* Specific tools: experience with SAP, in particular Material Management Routines (Material Masters, MRP, etc...), Business Warehouse and experienced user in MS Excel.
* Languages and level: Fluent in English.
