The Role:
Function description
 The Turnaround Logistics Planner is responsible for the safe, qualitative and efficient planning and execution of the Event's logistical aspects, including (but not limited to):
* Site preparation
* Plot space allocation to internal clients, incl. alignment with stakeholders to this end
* Temporary housing and messing facilities for up to 1.000 contractors
* Shared services (such as cranes, cleaning, waste management)
* Utilities (such as power, water, lighting)
* IT services
* Radio services
* Traffic management, both within and outside of the fence line
* Managing Security aspects of all the above
* Initiating and following through to resolution, Management of Change for all of the above
 The TA Logistics Planner develops (and maintains evergreen) the IE Logistics Plan (text file) and Plot Plans
 The TA Logistics Planner reports to the TA Support Manager
* The TA Logistics Field Coordinator reports to the TA Logistics Planner
* The TA Logistics Planner serves as a backup for the TA Logistics Field Coordinator

Detailed expectations
 Application of Loss Prevention System to own activities
 Alignment with SSHE team (Site Security Lead) as to the development of the Security plan for the IE
 Alignment with SSHE team (TA SSHE Lead and Site Security Lead) as to logistical requirements for Induction process

 Understanding and application of relevant Controls requirements regarding:
* Contracted labour and rented equipment
* Procurement of logistical services

 Understands, plans and optimizes requirements originating from different stakeholders (as outlined in the header)
 Coordinates the resolution of conflicting interests; escalates appropriately to TA Support Mgr
 Identifies best practices for disentangling congested work fronts, consistent with site procedures on stacked work, vehicle/pedestrian interface, etc.
 Takes guidance from and provides input to, TA Scheduler - to aid with the above
 Assists in development of spec books / bidding packages for contracted services/equipment
 Screens bids for technical and commercial viability, or ensures technical review is done timely and qualitatively when not technically qualified him/herself
 Participates to contractor bid clarification meetings, and organizes site/field visits when appropriate

 TA Procurement SPOC and Contract engineer, Site DCP
 TA Cost engineer
 TA Process SLS and Process Planning team
 TA Planning Supervisor and Mechanical Planning team
 TA Scheduler
 Capital Project Managers
 EMIT site or above-site representatives
 TA SSHE Lead
 Site Security Lead


The ideal candidate for this position:
- Has 5-10 years of relevant experience in similar position, preferably in petro-chemical sector
- Has a proven history of coordinating requirements of multiple departments, both internal to client and externals (such as vendors)
- Has demonstrated formal leadership at a point in his career
- Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Is not afraid to get hands-on
- Can balance multiple priorities and is stress-resistant
- Is result-oriented i.e. "gets the job done"
- Has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
