The Role:
We have a new requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading nuclear client based in Cumbria. This role is required to provide general assistance to the one of the senior QS's. It is expected that this role will involve assisting the Senior QS in their day to day work load. Ideally suited to a graduate QS or alternatively suit someone already working in a commercial or project management role who is either looking to progress to a potentially more senior role or gain some commercial experience to develop their core skill set. Please note this role will fall inside of the IR35 regulations

- Assessing subcontractor valuations
- Closing out subcontractor final accounts
- Identification and compilation and pricing of compensation events
- Assisting in the formulation of the valuation,
- Closing out queries raised by the client and general day to day QS work.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Able to work under their own initiative
- Be prepared to ask for help and guidance if required.
- P4 / SC Clearance preferred, or the means to obtain the clearnce ( the client will provide this)
