The Role:
We are looking for Structural Engineers who have a good understanding of advanced analysis techniques and the application of design codes to provide practical solutions to our clients' challenges.

You will support technical delivery of work packages and present your work to clients through reports and presentations, whilst applying appropriate quality assurance.

You'll be responsible for conducting structural engineering analysis using finite element techniques for assessment and design for all types of offshore structures including fixed and floating. You will deliver high quality structural finite element analysis, ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, as well as internal best practice procedures and contribute to analytical methods for specific structural engineering analysis.

The Person

Comfortable at performing a range of analytical tasks, you take personal responsibility in achieving the best from yourself and colleagues to ensure client satisfaction, working to external and internal time, cost and quality objectives. You are comfortable and adaptable to working in new and changing environments. You have good attention to detail and are able to make judgements under pressure.

You have a strong background in offshore structural engineering with the following qualifications and experience:

· Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture or similar;

· Design and assessment of offshore structures to relevant codes and standards (e.g. ISO, DNV, NORSOK, API);

· Structural analysis experience in the following:

· Linear and non-linear offshore structural analysis using SESAM/GeniE and USFOS software;

· Application of environmental and topsides loading;

· Spectral and Deterministic Fatigue;

· Ultimate and Accidental Limit States;

· Ship impact

· Technical understanding of environmental wave loading and soil/pile interaction;

· Experience in the use of SESAM for offshore wind modules is preferred, particularly the use of the "Fatigue Manager" module.
