The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager to provide technical assistance in the delivery of assigned projects and tasks to satisfy Sellafield Ltd Operating Unit, TDA and UK Legal Requirements.

Duties to include but not limited to:
* Following the Task Team Processes and Procedures and compliance with the meeting times, standards and governance expectations.
* Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality, company procedures, policies, legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Delivering the task in a safe manner to the specified functional criteria, goals and objectives, compliant with appropriate legislation, project execution procedures, and within the approved project baseline, scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements.
* Developing, maintaining, reporting and trending an accurate project or task baseline
* Providing accurate and timely information and reports regarding the task status, activities and performance
* Proposing, agreeing, implementing and reporting corrective actions to secure the project baseline.
* Meeting the specified project functional criteria
* Controlling scope and cost to the agreed task baseline
* Early identification of risks/ issues/ concerns that either have the potential or will impact the project baseline and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
* Liaison with and proactive management of all project stakeholders including design, construction, commissioning, safety, HP&S, S&RM, IWM and any other plant teams during all project phases.
* Maintaining effective communication to the project team and stakeholders
* Sharing LFE with team members and project stakeholders
* Attendance and input to relevant workshops/meetings
* Supporting and coaching the project team members
* Production, presentation, management and close out of PMPs and supporting documentation.
* Production of Work Specification Forms and Work Scope documents.
* Production of work packages including Safety Method Statements and Work Safety Plans.
* Production of tender packages and oversight of contract management process.
* Maintaining effective integrated project execution plans

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* APM Level D qualification
* Working knowledge of tasks and projects
* Experience in production of PMPs, Method Statements and WSPs
* Experience of work in operational facilities.
