The Role:


Provide professional purchasing service in support of ongoing operations, including the following:
o Master Purchase Agreements (MPA) Management
o Executing Framework Agreements, Service Agreements and amendments
o Prepare and issue RFQ's, perform evaluation, clarifications, negotiations, award recommendations etc.
o Review and negotiation of Contract terms and conditions
o Maintain Contracts Database(s) and files (electronic and hard copy)
o Participate in Contractor Performance Reviews including FPAL PF1/3
o Maintain purchasing KPI's
o Review relevant SAP Controls & Operational Reports
o Ensure SSJ/NC Registers are maintained
o Attendance at Planner/Maintenance meetings
o Issue of weekly reports for Tar/Project specific orders
o Compliance with Contracts and Purchasing Manual - ANS-CP-002
o Assist with the reduction of ad hoc spend by optimising existing Framework Agreements and identifying potential new agreements
o Where possible encourage use of consignment stock deals, volume discounts structures, SSAs etc.
o Alignment across companies purchasing functions
o Interface with Supply Chain inventory and materials team
* Participate and assist with delivery of Purchasing Team Value Generation goals
* Assist Contract Engineers in preparing SPP's, Scopes of Work, rate schedules and other documents as required to prepare Contracts or Invitations to Tender documents
* Prepare and issue Invitations to Tender documents, perform all aspects of Tender Administration including evaluation, clarifications, negotiations, recommendation and award etc
* Promotes Supply Chain within and outside the business demonstrating expertise, integrity, innovation and professionalism

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Confident individual with sound commercial awareness and good negotiating skills
* Good working knowledge of ERP - SAP/Ariba
* Effective interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communications
* Capable of working both on own initiative and within a team environment to strict deadlines
* Computer literate - working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Demonstrate contractual and commercial acumen

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Relevant Higher education, HNC, HND, Diploma or degree (Law, QS, Business Studies or similar)
* Membership of a recognised Supply Chain organisation preferred (eg CIPS)
* Advanced Technical knowledge (Subject Matter Expert)
