The Role:
* Understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow the OPUS SAAS offering, improve customer experience and improve growth
* Instill product vision both internally and with key external partners
* Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
* Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
* Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
* Work closely with OPUS team to deliver with quick time-to-market
* Drive product launches
* Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy
* Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
* Foster an environment that embodies Agile development principles.
* Foster and advocate a continual improvement attitude.

The client is a leading advanced automation and real-time business intelligence company specialising in Automation, Control and IT Solutions and Services with major customers in the Nuclear, Power Generation, Utilities and Oil & Gas markets. The Company is renowned for its innovation, technical excellence, project delivery, quality and safety.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven work experience in product management
* Evidence a record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
* Proven ability to develop product and support marketing strategies and effectively communicate to senior level
* Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
* Strong problem solving skills
* Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in an agile organization
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Work well under pressure and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities as necessary
* Ability to multi-task, work independently and demonstrate keen attention to details.
* Communicate with diplomacy and tact and connect ideas.
* Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
* Team player attitude is mandatory.
* Positive attitude.
