The Role:
Summary of Role:
Our client have recently launched an Industrial IoT solution for Building Performance, Energy Management, Network Visibility, Situational Awareness and Predicative Analytics.
The role will be responsible for the strategy, product road map, opportunity development, the feature/function definition of that IoT solution and development and release management. Reporting to the Business Manager, this role will be responsible for the vision and profitability of a product. This role will require travel to customer sites and other offices as required depending on the business opportunity and need. Role is split across three offices; Stone, Gloucester and Edinburgh.

Role Description:

* Understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow the IoT solution offering, improve customer experience and improve growth
* Instill product vision both internally and with key external partners
* Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
* Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
* Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact and need
* Work closely with IoT solution team to deliver, quick time-to-market solutions and features of the product set
* Drive product launches
* Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with the product strategy
* Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
* Foster an environment that embodies Agile development principles.
* Foster and advocate a continual improvement attitude.
* Lead strategic marketing to launch product to market.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven work experience in software product management
* Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle and delivering to market
* Proven ability in developing software product(s) and supporting marketing strategies with effectively communication to senior stakeholders
* Proven experience in developing the "Product Vision" based on market knowledge and business intelligence. Able to clearly articulate this vision to the Business Manager, Product Manager(s) and other key stakeholders.
* Solid technical background with a keen understanding of broader business needs and strategy
* Solid understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
* Proven experience of working in the Energy and Utilities markets
* Strong problem solving skills
* Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in an agile organisation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or e
