The Role:
Provide strategic communications support - creative advice and direction, writing and editing -- to internal customers. Support includes: Research and development of key messages, development of communications plans, articles for internal and/or external website, town halls brochures, fact sheets, videos, webcasts, other promotional materials, speeches, development and/or review of presentations, etc.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of metrics and/or surveys to ensure communications are effective and reaching targeted audiences - employees, government, partners, communities, media, etc.

Ensure that business unit messages are clearly communicated to all stakeholders in a timely manner using appropriate media and are aligned with EEME and Corporate communications strategies.

Build relationships and work closely with assigned customer groups to communicate business plan performance, success stories and challenges through appropriate media.

Management of editorial calendar to ensure proper and timely internal and external communications. Focusing on strategic communications to help achieve its business milestones and objectives. Key areas of focus: building OC, cost management, managing issues which impact , leveraging milestones with key stakeholders, building and maintaining alignment, etc.)

Manage delivery of key communications. Including:
- weekly e-newsletter - source, write, edit stories and publish on a weekly basis
- Executive Communications - Town Hall powerpoints, quarterly messages,
- Internal and external web site maintenance and updating

Development and updating of business unit key messaging, business unit's message on a page, asset fact sheets, etc. for use with key stakeholders (employees, partners, government, media, NGOs, etc.)

Participate in and support emergency response/crisis communications requirements during regular drills and emergencies. Active participant in emergency response rota.

Responsible for handling local media enquiries with approval of PGPA Manager
