The Role:
The Marine Coordinator will be the company's main focal point with marine service providers and will ensure that these services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Deliver incident and injury free production, drilling and project marine operations, compliant with all MRSE and marine processes, undertake safety briefings, scheduling, routing and coordinate all contracted vessels.

· Provide Marine logistics solutions - manage and co-ordinate vessel chartering, work with brokers, monitor market, With Marine Expert, assist with incident investigation.
· Act as first point of contact for Drilling and Production offshore requests - coordinate with TEAM marine operations.
· Ensure all vessel fuel, water, bulk cargo and tank cleaning requirements are met.
· Monitor all term vessel certification and maintenance is kept up to date and any dry docking or repairs are planned accordingly.
· Liaise with service providers and external/internal customers (quayside service provider, off/on shore production, drilling, 3rd parties,) to prioritise material delivery and backload cargoes.
· Ensure all shipping manifests are managed in the SharePoint Portal and manage queries that may arise.
· Maintain live vessel information - ETA's, ETD's, weather to facilitate planning, minimize non-productive standby time.
· Communicate and plan with, IOC, vessel masters, external/internal customers (e.g. Off/On shore Production, Drilling, 3rd Parties)
· Manage vessel and quayside SLA's, oversee daily inbound and outbound vessel logistics and 3rd party provided quayside operations.
· Collect and collate marine logistics data and prepare reports - utilization, spend reporting (cargo, bulks, 3rd party services).
· Analyse Marine logistics data and work efficiencies - utilisation, spend reporting (cargo, bulks, 3rd party services) Voyage Logs.
· Ensuring service providers invoices are correct and costs allocated to the correct assets.
· Assisting with yearly budget forecasting and vessel fleet strategies.
· Represent company through participation in the TEAM Marine Steering Group.
· Work closely with shipbrokers and Marine Authority to charter spot hire vessels when required, ensuring all vessel certification, crew competency and all other documentation meets the required criteria.
· Where necessary, attend daily planning meetings to ensure all assets marine requirements are met

Our Client is an independent Oil & Gas company with production, development and exploration operations in the UK North Sea. A leading North Sea operator, headquartered in Aberdeen, with a goal to deliver sustainable growth underpinned by operational excellence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong influencing, organisational, administrative and communication (verbal and written) skills are required.
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain good relationships with service providers and internal customers is required.
- An ability to work under pressure and to prioritise and progress multiple tasks is required.
- An understanding of contracts and contractor management is required.
- A good working knowledge of Vantage POB PAX Management Tool is preferred.
- Specialist knowledge in marine operations is advantageous.
