The Role:

* Reports to the company Asset Integrity Team Lead
* Full-time position (5-day working week), 12-month initial contract term
* Up to date offshore medical/BOSIET for offshore trips as an when required
* Work cross-asset supporting all aspects of the marine integrity needs of a floating operated asset portfolio including 1 x FPSO, 1 x FSU and 1 x FPF

Key Tasks / Responsibilities: -
* Develop and maintain hull, turret and marine integrity inspection plans (schedules)
* Develop hull structure, turret and marine systems inspection workpacks/workbooks (with assistance / support as required from specialist contractors)
* Liaise with asset planners, offshore teams, and inspection/repair contractors to schedule offshore inspection and repair of hull and marine systems
* Liaise with inspection and repair contractors and coordinate planning and execution of offshore inspection & repair activity
* Review inspection findings and associated data management
* Liaise with the company Marine Technical Authority to agree remedial actions following inspections
* Interrogate and amend CMMS (SAP) as necessary ahead of hull & marine inspection activity
* Update CMMS to reflect completed hull, turret and marine activity
* Assist company Marine Technical Authority in annual review of hull, turret and marine performance standards to identify improvement areas and themes across installations
* Support ad-hoc marine maintenance scopes, interfacing as necessary between offshore crew and office-based maintenance teams. Note the marine integrity support engineer is required to advise on specific aspects of maintenance scopes but is not responsible for the planning and execution of such scopes (these lie within company's maintenance support function)
* Support Class activities, including liaison with Surveyors to arrange surveys and maintain records of Class related communication, e.g. Class Certificates, Conditions of Class, Memo Items etc.
Definitions / Areas of Responsibility
Where noted above "hull, turret and marine" is intended to include: -
* Hull Structure including all elements of the FPSO/FSU up to and including the weather deck. This includes Main, Forecastle and Poop decks, but excludes accommodation blocks, deck houses and topside modules. It excludes flare tower, turret gantry and crane pedestals (above deck) since these fall under the company's Structural Technical Authority's inspection remit
* Turret Structure including all components of the fixed (geo-stationary) turret above and below main deck. This includes lower turret cylinder, collar deck ESDV, pigging & swivel decks. It also includes turret carousel structures and turret turning arrangements, bearing and bogey assemblies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Marine engineering or naval architecture background (relevant degree qualified)
* 5-10+ years' experience in an offshore/marine support function
* Relevant marine inspection experience desirable but not essential
* FPSO or tanker experience is essential, semi-submersible experience is highly desirable
* Methodical, logical thought processes, a consistent approach and ability to communicate effectively are the key competences for this role
* Experience and demonstrated track record in effectively managing contractors to deliver against stringent
work quality, cost, schedule and OE expectations
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
