Piping Engineer

The Role:
Supporting the AIRE to prioritise, develop and execute piping anomaly scopes of work with support from the third party contractor where applicable.
* Focal point for Piping TA and AIRE for all pipe spool replacements to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are captured and implemented by third party vendor workscopes.
* Support the AIRE with developing the offshore survey scopes of work.
* Review and comment of all 3rd party Issue for Comment documentation
* Review and close out of all construction workpacks
* Provide support to Asset Integrity team to ensure pipe spool replacements are technically acceptable to PED and quality system in accordance with CUK QA/QC requirements.
* Offshore surveys
* Engineering and design of non-PED workscopes. Developing the workpack, fabrication isometrics and BOM.
* Support the TAR Team with regard WO review and material specification for fixed equipment scopes


Support, including stand is as, Piping TA with regard review of piping anomalies, Management of Change process, responding to Engineering Queries, update and review of relevant procedures, performance standards and Chevron Engineering Standards.

Support the Asset Integrity Team Lead associated with External and Internal Audit responses.

Demonstrated industry experience this should include time spent within operations and maintenance in a similar role.

Engineering/Science Degree or equivalent would be preferable or alternatively extensive proven Industrial Experience gained in the Oil & Gas Industry.

High level of organisational skills required to manage multiple work fronts. Ability to multi-task effectively.

Ability to understand and interpret P&IDs with extensive knowledge of International Piping specifications ASME/ANSI B31.3


Understanding of CMMS (SAP) preferable, including the influence and understanding of Risk Based work prioritization of work tasks in the development of piping replacement plans
