The Role:
Ensure inspections are carried out in a timely manner, in accordance with Company's QA procedures, in support of Drilling, Facilities, Maintenance & Integrity groups.

Provide necessary QA/QC awareness training for engineers as required.

* Responsible for ensuring that material and equipment is fit for purpose and complies with applicable Company and Industry specifications & standards.
* Conduct evaluations on new/existing supplier's capability through technical/compliance audits. Ensure Company's requirements for 'Fit for Purpose' equipment are meeting or exceeding contractual obligations.
* Manage equipment/material quarantine process to ensure any unfit equipment remains quarantined until correct certification, replacement or conditions are acceptable and released
* Conduct Positive Material Identification and Preservation processes as required
* Provide support on material / equipment failure analysis (Root Cause Analysis & Non-Conformance reporting)
* OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) experience

Engaging with Drilling, Facilities Engineering & Maintenance departments as well as third party providers, manufacturing facilities, warehousing and logistics providers.
Office based and requires travel to supplier locations as required. May involve trips offshore.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) is essential
Technical background in a QAQC role, ability to travel in UK & abroad, possible offshore (need BOSIET), driving licence.
