The Role:
Description: Job Responsibilites
* Quality Assurance Engineer to provide QA/QC support for the successful delivery of Subsea XT systems * Oversee supplier & sub-supplier QA/QC activities for materials and equipment forming part of the GS2 project * Support the Package Lead and Package Engineers in interpreting and determining the quality requirements for the XT systems * Work collaboratively with the package team, wider project team and supplier personnel to ensure shared success.
* Adopt and implement a 'right first time' approach, which seeks to ensure a high level of confidence in good quality performance from the outset.
* Communicate the requirements and expectations for quality across the project and supplier deliver teams * Monitor the execution of manufacturing and testing activities of the subsea equipment vendor to ensure requirements are being met.
* Oversee the activities of the appointed inspectors to ensure effective implementation of ITPs and surveillance * Carry out audits of supplier, sub-supplier and project team activities * Manage NCRs, CPARs, Concessions/Deviations, risk actions and lessons learnt for the package * Be absolutely committed Incident & Injury Free (IIF) and Operational Excellence (OE) * Create project reports as required.

Candidates requirements
The successful candidate will have had at least 10 years' experience working with Subsea equipment, including XTs, THSs & chokes etc. and will understand the operating environment in which that equipment works. Knowledge of the manufacturing and testing processes used is considered to be essential as is an understanding of the codes and specifications associated with such equipment, eg API and where possible Engineering Standards. Understanding risk, and the importance of Lessons Learnt is essential in ensuring that this equipment is delivered with the levels of reliability and integrity required.
