The Role:
The key objective of the role is to be the asset focal point for well interventions within the asset; this will be achieved through collaborating closely with the well interventions, well integrity and drilling teams, along with planning, finance, geoscience, field operations and performance and growth teams within the asset itself. The role is primarily office-based with occasional visits offshore.

* Responsible for input to the 2-year plan for well-related production optimisation and intervention activities, delivery of those activities and management of associated financial budget
* Responsible for reviewing and approving that asset objectives are being met in well intervention engineering programs
* Responsible for providing fit for purpose Statement of Requirements for diagnostic or repair of wells
* Participate in pre-job planning meetings with Well Operation Teams for assessments and risk mitigation
* Provide asset technical and operational support during job execution
* Responsible for conducting before and after well reviews and well stock evaluation
* Capture and share lessons learned
* Responsible for maximising the value to be gained from the optimisation budget
* Responsible for asset input into WSOR and Well Intervention Requests
* Provide the technical input for the requirement, justification and prioritisation of all well related interventions within the asset

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant subject e.g. Petroleum/Mechanical/Chemical or equivalent
* Minimum 6 years oil & gas experience with emphasis on Completions, Well Intervention, Well Integrity (and Field Operations).
* Minimum 3 years directly involved with well intervention field operations (Slickline, Electric line, Coiled tubing, Pumping), practical experience
* Experienced in preparing SORs and writing well intervention procedures
* Comprehensive knowledge of well design including tubing, casing and completion design
* Knowledge of well and stress modelling in software packages
* Knowledge of well intervention modelling
* Understanding of economic analysis, able to provide high level cost estimates for well interventions
* Demonstrable knowledge of UKCS field development and operating practices
* Exemplary SHE behaviour and leadership
