The Role:

As my client moves into the digital and analytical environment a holistic approach is required across UK. As such, this job position will ensure that the benefits of digitisation are leveraged into maintenance practices across the affiliate.

This is a new position that will have key influence in the standardisation of maintenance work practices across UK ensuring governance of methods and reporting that will be a key input to the organizational continuous improvement strategy.

CRITICAL CONTACTS:

Internal: Asset Discipline engineers, Maintenance and Inspection Leaders, Technical Authorities, Asset Integrity Manager, Verification Engineer, Technical Safety Engineers, Maintenance and Inspection Superintendents

External: Group Contacts in Product Line & Field Operations Metier; Regulatory Bodies (HSE & OPRED); Key contractors' representatives; peers in other operating companies.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
* Responsibility for of a wide range of Maintenance Engineering scopes and projects being implement across assets to improve operational performance and reduce OPEX whilst maintaining asset integrity
* Ensure alignment and communication with relevant Asset Maintenance Engineers and Technical Authorities to ensure collaboration and information exchange for Maintenance Engineering projects
* Maintain link with Group Product Line and Métier specialists to allow adoption of best practices from the wider Group and maximize standardization of maintenance optimizations.
* Ensure that Digitalization and automation of solutions is core to any solution implemented
* Ensuring adherence to Company General Specifications/Company Rules of maintenance optimisations undertaken internally or by contractors and vendors
* Delivery to scopes and projects to schedule, performance metrics and cost, informing management of any issues and delays and propose remedial actions

OTHER ACTIVITIES
* Preparation of comprehensive and detailed Scope or Work covering Maintenance Engineering scopes detailing proposal, objectives, target improvements/optimizations, costs and timeline. Secure all relevant stakeholder engagement during the preparation phase prior to finalization.
* Implement Maintenance Engineering scopes, by managing the execution and acting as technical custodian for the implementation of the project and provide regular reporting to line management on progress. Actively monitor the impletion and take corrective actions to ensure attained of targets.
* Participate to criticality reviews, SECE updates, RCM studies or equivalent to ensure that Maintenance requirements are properly addressed
* Support the wider Asset Support team with other parallel maintenance improvement project providing relevant input to ongoing projects based on past experience and technical competency.
* Preparing and updating affiliate and asset maintenance strategies to allow ongoing optimisation maintenance plans
* Preparation of strategy and recommendation and selection of spares parts holding based on equipment criticality.
* Preparation and update of cross asset affiliate Company Maintenance System (CMS) documentation related to Maintenance activities.
* Participation in the coordination and review of MIEC activities including maintenance and criticality strategy development, global maintenance plan preparation, maintenance procedures and the assurance of SECE. Ensure that all MIEC deliverables are in line with National Legislation, Affiliate and COMPANY Specifications and practices.
* Co-ordinate the preparation and the implementation of any data change into the Computerised Maintenance & Inspection Management System (CMIMS- SAP PM tool) including, asset register, Planned Maintenance activities, SECE measuring points and Bills of Materials. Execute technical and quality checks of the CMIMS data as required to ensure that data is technically accurate and in line with company procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Qualified to HND level or equivalent in a Technical discipline as a minimum; preferably qualified to degree level.
* 5-10 years' experience in Maintenance Engineering role
* Proven prioritisation and planning skills
* Detailed knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to scope.
* Detailed working knowledge of objectives and strategies deployed in SAP
