The Role:
The role incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the compliant, safe, and efficient execution of Tactical Procurement, Procurement Operations, across several defined regions. The incumbent will be a key member of the Procurement Execution leadership team and will be charged with protecting our clients interests while being highly cognizant of ethics and compliance risks and performance in the region.

Senior Buyer/Buyer Lead to travel to 3-4 key regions to project manage procurement execution performance.

Starting work first in the North Sea, then AGT, Angola & AsPac


* Lead Procurement Execution Performance interventions globally, working with both regional buying teams and in the India-based offshore buying centre.
* Project manage, supervise and drive effective execution of tactical procurement processes, in compliance with global and regional standards, to procuring materials and services for upstream customers. Oversee the effective delivery of end-to-end service within the region. Ensure the proper execution of the P2P process: from requisition handling, to PO placement and tracking, to PO changes, to PO close.
* Mentor Buyer Lead and Buying team members in successfully delivering procurement execution for the defined regions.
* Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Ways of Working, as documented and maintained by PS and PSCM Process & Systems, in the delivery of all services provided to the region.
* Ensure all activities take place in accordance with corporate policies and processes, defined governance and delegations of authority, ethics and compliance policy, as well as external laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with PSCM and Operations stakeholders in order to continually improve material and service delivery to the region.
* Exhibit good behaviours in managing the team and engaging with external stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Track record of effective project management
* Adequate written and communication skills required to effectively deliver against accountabilities
* 5+ years professional experience at senior or lead buyer level in a business that includes multiple stakeholders and requires cross-discipline engagement and cooperation
* High standards regarding ethical behaviours and sensitivity for minimizing risks in high risk environments

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Intimate knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and its supply base
* Master's degree or equivalent
* Professional PSCM qualification (CPSM or MCIPS or equivalent)
* Excellent project management skills
