The Role:
Role Synopsis: The Well Interventions Engineer will be accountable for well engineering support in planning well interventions activities across platform and subsea wells. The post will report to the Senior Interventions Engineer.

Key Accountabilities: -
* Leading by example with a strong commitment to HSSE, to deliver the well engineering and planning work programme through engineering, operations planning and well delivery for well intervention campaigns.
* Support review and selection of well options in conjunction with subsurface team.
* Responsible for front end planning, preparation of intervention designs and programmes, including modelling, equipment specification and selection.
* Responsible for integration between sub-surface and wells teams during the planning process.
* Preparation of Cost estimates
* Technical risk assessment, management, contingency planning and mitigation.
* Specification of installed well equipment
* Ensure alignment with International Standards, integration of learning's and best practice, and benchmarking data.
* Ensure delivery of third party Quality Assurance and Quality Control on equipment & services.
* Planning and integrating operations with the offshore team

Criteria & qualifications:
* A strong track record as a Well Interventions Engineer.
* Strong leadership and supervision, coaching and mentoring skills
* Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
* Skilled in leading the design work for intervention operations
* Experience with platform based well intervention planning and execution
* IWCF Pressure Control certified or equivalent
* Flexible approach to work
