Our client, a global supplier to the automotive industry is seeking exceptional individuals to join their Powertrain development business in Northampton, where they have a rich history of delivering exceptional products to the global Automotive OEM market.
As an Instrumentation Technician you'll be responsible for providing electronic/ electrical and systems support to the Build and Test Department. The ideal candidate will have a bias toward instrumentation, with
experience of fault finding, repairing and calibrating instrumentation and control systems.
- Some areas that would pique our interest are:
* Experience of electronic, electrical & electro-mechanical repair & maintenance
* Experience with automotive test systems such as AVL Puma, CP Cadet, DSG DatAqPro
* Have a recognised qualification in electrical/ electronic engineering
* Experience of dealing with breakdowns & set-up work to powertrain test call & chambers
* Ability to perform simple manual operations such as drilling and sawing (for electronic enclosure assembly)
