The Role:

An Engineer is required to support the Body Quality team, details as follows;


- Attend audit reviews daily (all models)
- Obtain audit reports before feedback sessions
- Monitor / review reports against known / knew issues status
- Document each audit issue attributed to "Body" and/ or "press" including photo, measurement and verbatim
- Present evidence suggesting scores should move from body to other areas when appropriate
- Networking with body team (cross-functional) to agree action plans in each problem case
- Influencing other technologies regarding problem ownership
- Tracking audit status for Body and press
- Produce clear reports with problem status
- Circulate to broader body team
- Identify "stuck" issues
- Engage with / lead problem solving activities where ownership or cause are not clear

Skills / Competence

- Automotive product knowledge
- Final product buy-off awareness
- BIW expertise is an advantage - especially A surface panels / paint
- High IT competency especially excel
- Report writing
- Ability to present formally or ad-hoc
- Data analysis tools
- Problem solving experience
- Interpersonal skills - talking to the production guys about producing containments , changing setting process etc.
