The Role:
Main Goals & Objectives:
The Business Analyst's primary purpose is to identify and analyse Sales and Marketing processes to ensure that they are operating in accordance with data compliance legislation, such as GDPR.

Upon identification of compliance risks, the business analyst will lead the development of appropriate solutions (Organisational, process or system) to mitigate these.

They will lead the successful implementation of any required changes, supporting any testing, communication and training requirements through a co-ordinated change management programme which will ensure approval and buy-in from the relevant stakeholders.

Finally, they will lead the required activities that will establish a target operating model within Sales and Marketing which will deliver on-going data compliance in a sustainable manner whilst integrating with existing company wide data policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Process and System Development
Assess and review Sales and Marketing process landscape to identify potential compliance risks to data legislation, such as GDPR, Chinese cyber security law. Develop and implement a mitigation solution for each potential risk. Key activities include:
a. Establish the scope of potential risks, and prioritise implementation of solutions.
b. Requirements gathering and confirmation of agreed solution with the end user in line with agreed processes and legislation
c. Identify potential barriers to successful implementation and propose resolutions.
d. Lead the Business implementation of identified process and system solution along with any associated change management activities.
e. Lead the development and establishment of appropriate governance models and processes that lead to the implementation of a target operating model ensuring on-going compliance.
f. Provide on-going support to the customer as appropriate.
g. Coaching of other team members in relation to processes and skills.
h. Setting the standard using best practice analytical and research processes and tools.

2. Master Data Management
Develop and maintain protocols and processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy are throughout transition for all stakeholder groups.

3. Solution Design
Provide analysis, solution design (Considering any corporate or group restrictions), project change control and implementation in the support of specific business needs and activities

4. Solution Support
Develop appropriate documentation and feed into training material to support the processes and systems used.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in process/systems development and implementation
* Experience in the automotive industry would be of benefit
* Project management and systems development experience
* Strong influencing, communication and analytical skills
* Manage and challenge senior stakeholders at an appropriate level
* Experience in an operational environment
* Must be able to organise and manage workload to reflect company priorities
* Experience of sponsoring and implementing change affecting systems and people

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
* High levels of customer and commercial awareness and an understanding of both regional and dealer requirements
* Thorough understanding of analytical tools and techniques
* An understanding of business processes
* An understanding of data compliance topics such as GDPR.
