The Role:
The role is initially required to focus on General Certification activities.

Experience in one or more of the following areas of specialisms would be beneficial - Vehicle Safety Systems & Testing would be desirable but also any relevant general Legislation, Type Approval or Certification experience.

In this role you will be expected to:

* Undertake Type Approval and Certification of vehicles, systems and components for World Markets and to provide understanding of relevant Regulations.
* To identify, arrange and conduct testing to satisfy regulatory and functional requirements.
* Create and maintain timing plans for specific Type Approval and Certification activities.
* Advise concept and product engineers of regulatory requirements.
* Plan, monitor and expedite tests, documentation and certification reports.
* Identify and report issues or risks recommend and take remedial action.
* Liaise with internal departments and external agencies, as necessary to secure Type Approval and Certification.
