The Role:
Main Responsibilities:
1) Support & lead design development
- Problem solving, presentation/communication skills
- CAD/LCA, FEA/CFD results analysis
- PEP, PVR, Design reviews, FMEA
- Release and sign-off process
- V-shape development scheme
- Kinematics, material science, durability, NVH - mechatronics basics

2) Delivery of Projects
- Project management, planning
- Self and project time management
- Lead, coordinate group/suppliers activities, meeting management
- Financial awareness

3) Developing & Maintaining Specialist Knowledge
To develop technical excellence in own area:
- Strong technical background
- Curiosity, passion for engineering, out-of-the box thinking
- Focus on re-occurrence prevention, knowledge retention/sharing
- Suppliers / Competitors benchmarking
- Familiar with technical strategy / roadmaps
- Pre-development

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in chassis systems, ideally compliance parts (bushing, powertrain mounting, springs, dampers etc…)
- Strong automotive background required
- Project management experience
- Strong mechanical engineering skills (able to engineer parts with low supervision)
- Autonomous, pro-active
- Catia V5 knowledge
