The Role:
The ideal candidate needs to have excellent excel skills & data manipulation. Does not have to come from Warrinty background.

Reporting directly to the Warranty Manager the job holder is required to support Aftersales Operations and the global Warranty team through the provision of warranty analysis and KPI performance reporting.

The role requires analysis of warranty data reported from the global Retailer network to identify trends, common threads, concerns and opportunities that would indicate potential for control of warranty costs and deviations. Based on this analysis, to make recommendations to Aftersales management and to develop and implement controls.

The role is also responsible for the user maintenance and development of the warranty IT system and for warranty processes.

The Warranty Analyst works closely with all members of the Warranty & Aftersales Operations teams, the Regional warranty teams and other Functions involved in Warranty.

Main Responsibilities:

Warranty analysis & reporting
* Collating and analysing large amounts of data from various sources, interpreting the data and to draw conclusions and establishing reasons for deviations from plan.
* Providing accurate analysis and findings from the information and generating management reports to enable decision making.
* Run analysis and make recommendations to assist in managing warranty parts and labour spend and controls
* Developing and maintaining standard Business Objects reports
* Producing month-end reports and analysis.
* Producing regular ad-hoc reports to support warranty decisions and activities as required
* Develop methods of forecasting warranty cost changes to feed into warranty financial planning rounds.
* Providing this information to Aftersales management and other Functions Aftersales, Finance, Quality, Regional warranty teams

Warranty Improvement
* Through analysis, identify warranty cost saving opportunities and engage with other departments and functions to develop and implement savings.
* Direct involvement in warranty process development and improvement activities.
* Maintenance of warranty process documentation, ensuring it meets the business process standards and Retailer requirements.

Warranty KPI Reports
* Developing, generating and maintaining warranty performance KPIs
* Develop methodologies to establish reasons for deviations from plan
* Produce regular reports to animate the warranty processing performance at a global, product and regional level
* Produce standard warranty reports to support the central and regional Warranty Management teams and make recommendations based on the analysis.
* Provide information/reports to assist with the management of the KPI section of the Performance Portal and make recommendations

Warranty IT system maintenance
* Development and maintenance of controls in the warranty system
* Maintenance of Retailer warranty and regional data in SAGA
* Take part in Group warranty system development forums to ensure Bentley requirements are integrated in the Group's development activities

Warranty & Aftersales Operations Support
* Communication with internal customers, Aftersales, Finance and Quality Colleagues, to aid the timely identification of warranty spend deviations
* Support global warranty processors to resolve specific warranty claim / process problems.
* Assist with the management of warranty queries reported from Retailers around the world
* Supporting department with various administration activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Highly computer literate with a demonstrable level of experience of data analysis and retrieval from different computer systems.
* Excel, Business Objects & MS applications
* Experience of timely, accurate analysis of data providing logical problem solving methodologies in the search criteria applied.
* Experience of working to challenging targets and tight deadlines under pressure.
* Positive and self-motivated team player with experience of team working
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work within a team and to facilitate the work of the team
* Willingness to be highly flexible to meet frequently changing priorities
* Good communication skills at peer levels
* Good visual presentation skills
* PC skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access
* Business Objects
