The Role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Security, Colleague Services and Occupational Health and Safety functions are compliant with General Data Protection Regulation requirements, to ensure that policies, procedures and impact assessments are in place for all functions working with identified Colleagues from each team in order to close any compliance gaps.

The post holder will report progress both within the identified functions and also into the GDPR Steering Group.

Main Responsibilities:
1. GDPR Statutory Compliance
* Work alongside Security, Colleague Services (incl. Occupational Health) and Health & Safety to ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with the regulations
* Identify and close and GDPR compliance gaps working with process owners.

2. Security - specific areas of focus to include:
* CCTV / Photographic Image Retention
* Investigation Reports
* Emergency Services Reports
* External Contractors Relationship

3. Colleague Services (Incl Occupational Health) specific areas of focus to include:
* Confidential Medical Reports and Records / Pre Activity Medical Information / Gym and BeFit Induction and Medical Records
* External Contractors Relationship
* Car Scheme Orders, Disclaimers and Loan Agreements
* Bupa Membership, Special Event Car and Prize Draw records

4. Health and Safety - Specific areas of focus include:
* RIDDOR Reports
* HSE Reports
* External Contractors Relationship
* Accident Investigations

5. Generic areas of focus to include:
* Record Management
* Data Breach Policy
* Database Systems (incl Third Party Databases) Compliance including Personal Information

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience:
* Report writing and presentation skills
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the business
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office and email with a high level of accuracy
* Ability to organise own workload and work as part of a team
* Ability to systematically work through a problem to find a resolution
* Experience of working with confidential information

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
* Ability to analyse and interpret data
* Knowledge of the clients people and facilities would be beneficial
* Knowledge of GDPR legislation and its application- essential
* Knowledge of customer service, leisure and security industries - desirable
* Knowledge of Electronic Point Of Sale/Membership systems - desirable

* Desirable - Certified DPO qualification
* Competent at intermediate level in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
