The Role:
Main Goals & Objectives:
- Preparation of accurate and timely Financial information in relation to expenditure, investment, allocations and transfer pricing for Bentley vehicle programme.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating financial data, analysis and variances against targets.
- Expediting group-related issues and queries.
- Some limited budget holder review, support and challenge including education to ensure process efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Accurate and timely financial information and reporting to support vehicle programmes
a) Responsible for support and delivery of regular monthly finance reports, expenditure status etc.
b) Responsible for delivery of regular (gateway related) Project allocation finance reports.
c) Responsible for the clients group forecasts.
d) Ensuring group-related business activities are correctly setup in the SAP system to ensure accurate financial reporting.

2. Responsible for providing financial data for management
a) Group material cost analysis and variances against agreed status with clear explanations of the reasons for variances.
b) Carry out frequent cost reviews with key Project stake-holders, ensuring that the stakeholder has full understanding of current transfer price cost status, allocations and authorised updates.
c) Identification of risks and opportunities and provision/suggestion of counter-measures to compensate for any risks.
d) Timely communication of any risk or deviations to the latest plan to senior finance managers (Projects team).

3. Business development
a) Provide Vehicle Projects and other functions with support for business decision through validation and application of scenario modelling activities.

4. Systems maintenance & query resolution.
a) Resolving group-related ad-hoc queries.
b) Resolving systems-based cost queries.
c) Co-ordination with Group companies ensuring timely exchange and delivery of group related costs.
d) Supporting the clients internal processes for Group-related transactions.
e) Provide educational support to budget holders to support improved ways of working, adherence to process to support overall process efficiency.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of financial accounting processes and skills, gained through hands on experience (systems, transactional processes) with an understanding of how business processes affect company financials
* Up to 3 years' experience working within a finance environment within manufacturing ideally within the automotive industry
* Ability to process and understand the cause and impact of transactions
* Ability to effectively interface with areas of the business and present complex information to a variety of audiences
* Proven track-record of effective working cross-functionally
* German language speaker an advantage.

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
* IT skills - Advanced Excel plus Office
* Knowledge and experience of enterprise resource planning systems e.g. SAP

Qualification:
Qualifications Degree plus recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA) or equivalent (MBA)
