The Role:
To organise and control effective programmes for Engineering projects involving product and competitor vehicles. To develop procedures that effectively co-ordinate the activities of the Engineering vehicle fleet including the Analysis and reporting of technical issues.


* Vehicle usage planning & reporting
* Supporting in the daily operations of budget requirements (POR raising, outsourcing.)
* Creation, maintenance and submission of Vehicle Specification sheets derived from company systems to include vehicle updates
* Ordering of Vehicles and submission of validated specifications
* Liaise with vehicle users and stakeholders to negotiate and agree vehicle usage allocation and specifications.
* Development and maintenance of tracking documents to include, Vehicle Concerns, Vehicle Handover status and Vehicle Update trackers.
* Project status reporting - KPI Production.
* Management and reporting of vehicle tracking system and utilisation metrics for designated project.
* Co-ordination of vehicle sign-off procedure, facilitate the handover of vehicles to customers.
* Coordination of Pre-delivery inspections, including PDI content.
* Vehicle Disguise planning and implementation including liaising with suppliers.
* Support all vehicle running to minimise fleet down time.
* Acquisition and disposal of vehicles.
* Process development.
* Meeting facilitation with engineering functions to support vehicle usage planning, requests, issues and inquiries.
* Supporting cross-functional planning meeting landscape to include departments such as, Prototype build, Project integration and Production.
* Interaction with parent / sister group companies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Engineering Degree or equivalent
* Well rounded product knowledge
* Effective Communication and presentation skills to all levels
* Track record of delivering engineering solutions
* Working knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes
* Knowledge of design performance and test methods
* Competent at intermediate level or above in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred (non-essential) skills:

* Understanding of Product Emergence Process (PEP)
* Ability to write macro's in MS Excel
