To ensure the effective development of Digital Models and Surfaces for the client,supporting the Department's requirements.


1) Ensuring the realisation of Design proposals into Digital Models and surfaces and assessing and presenting the work results.
2) Monitoring and evaluating the creation of Digital Models and Presentations, ensuring the required quality of the work with the correct level of technical information.
3) Agreeing and coordinating the work results with the Technical Manager.
4) Accountable for the delivery of the Digital Models to satisfy the agreed targets for the team.
5) Accountability for the excellence and integrity of the team.
6) Transferring the CAD model into the Engineering database.


Maintaining the position of being the ICEM-Surf or Alias Expert within the Business for this group of features.
a. Attendance to Seminars, tutorials about Digital Design related techniques and technologies, and any applicable relevant technology.
b. Maintaining contact with the corresponding functions within the group and the supplier base.
c. Involved with the supervising and development of relevant Digital media, hardware/software.

Ensuring the realisation of design proposals into Digital Models and surfaces and assessing and presenting the work results.
a. Organising the resources to deliver the agreed task.
b. Coordinating the work of his/her team members
c. Realising personally the Digital Modelling work when required

Monitoring and evaluating the creation of Digital Models and presentations, ensuring the required quality of the work, potentially in co-operation with external companies.
a. Coordinating the input from other areas of the Department and Engineering
b. Ensuring that all necessary information is supplied or obtained, including retrieving Data from system and other client and Group files as required as well as outputting systematically the required data into those files.

Agreeing and coordinating the work results with the Digital Design Manager.
a. Organising formal and informal meetings within the area as required.
b. Agreeing the scope of work and the targets with the Technical Manager.

Accountable for the delivery of the Digital Models to satisfy the agreed targets by his/her team for current projects
a. Responsible for conducting formal and informal team and individual reviews of progress, controlling the timely delivery
b. Leading/representing his/her team at formal design reviews.
c. Reporting progress at formal reviews and commitment to remedial action if required.

Accountability for the effective operation of the team.
a. Responsible for motivation, development of his/her team.
b. Responsible for appropriate, safe and legal working conditions of his/her team
c. Responsible maintenance of technical processes, procedures and documentation to ensure excellence in his/her area of responsibility, and to satisfy the certification norms required by the company.
d. Recommending software and hardware selection, organising Digital infrastructure for the team.


Appropriate Design/Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Approved ICEM-Surf or Alias training program.


5 years minimum experience as Digital Modeller in ICEM-Surf or Alias.
Proven CAD Management experience and delivery of solutions through people.
Proven negotiating and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
