The Role:
This role is responsible for the strategic development and successful delivery of the corporate global live events programme, in line with the annual marketing plan and launch planning strategy, working integrally with the key stakeholders including Regions, Communications, Dealer Academy, Regions and internal corporate.
The Live Events Manager, and their Team, will define & lead live event projects, and in doing so gather input and buy in from the major stakeholders, defining & sharing responsibility for individuals as part of a flexible cross functional team including central & regional functions.
This activity includes, but not exclusively, centrally driven events in relation to dynamic media launches, Heads of Business conferences, dynamic dealer training, global events where the brand is represented corporately and event related customer experiences.
The role also has responsibility for ensuring transferability of the corporate events offering to regions and dealers through the provision of Event Guidelines and other tools and assets to support local delivery of brand appropriate events.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the client Live Events Programme:
a. Ensuring Live Events Programme is aligned so strategic goals and launch plans.
b. Responsibility for the planning, implementation and delivery of successful corporate and customer events.
c. Set and lead high quality operational standards of the direct and contracted team commensurate with the customer expectation of a premium brand.
d. Day to day management of the Live Events team consisting two Event Coordinators.
e. Responsibility for managing the Corporate Events annual budgetary planning process and spend forecast.
a. Accountability for the management and reporting of relevant budgetary information. Exploring and implementing efficiencies.
f. Ensure full engagement of the Regional teams and dealers through a consultative approach and also through the provision of clear event guidelines and relevant tools to maintain the clear strategic direction for the Live Events Programme
and maintain standards of brand representation.
g. Produce tender documentation and manage tender process in support of any event agency/supplier pitch scenarios and ensure compliance with client procurement policies to ensure best value partner appointment.
h. Integration with the CRM Team to ensure prospect/lead generation targets are identified for all events and ensure process for follow-up/feedback and measurement is in place to support return on investment and aid continuous improvement.
i. Internal reporting and presentation to senior management team cross functionally of event programme.
j. Operating with direct responsibility for collaborating across all internal departments and stakeholders that have a direct or indirect association with the Corporate Event Programme.

2. Management of Corporate Event Programme
a. Lead the development and implementation of the client Corporate Event Programme as directed within annual marketing plan including, but not limited to, Worldwide Dealer Conferences, Goodwood Festival of Speed.
b. Liaison role with client counterparts and alignment as required.
c. Day-today management of the Live Event team to ensure delivery in timely and cost effective manner.
d. Accountability for the management and reporting of relevant budgetary information.
e. Day to day responsibility for the appointment and management of centrally appointed third party agencies.

3. Integration of Pay to Play Customer & Prospect Experiences Into the Brand Experience Offer
a. Working with agency partners to deliver the strategic programme of pay to play activities bespoke to client.
b. Deliver event specific marketing Plans to ensure all communication channels are used to support promotion of events, ensure all relevant internal and external functions are integrated.
c. Manage the implementation of programme across all markets ensuring seamless integration within the business structure.
d. Ensure commercial focus generating profit opportunity where appropriate
e. Day to Day management of partner agencies responsible for delivery of event.
f. Manage internal and external resource to ensure effective implementation
g. Accountability for the management and reporting of relevant budgetary information.

4. Ensure transferability of Event Offering to Internal Departments, Dealer and Regions
a. Support local events - launches, driving events, customer events etc through provision of up to date event guidelines and supporting tools and assets to ensure appropriate brand representation at local and smaller scale events.
b. Work with Transfer Manager to ensure these guidelines and assets are made available through the most effective channels.
c. Manage biannual 'Event Forum' with regions to review to ensure integration of corporate and regional events plans and review best practice.

5. Support planning and delivery of dynamic launch events including Media Launches and Dealer Training
a. Provide supporting lead role to the Central Communications team in the planning and delivery of global dynamic media launches in line with business launch plans. Specific areas of responsibility include infrastructure, venue allocation, product drives and media travel.
b. Provide support to the Dealer Academy in the planning and delivery of global dynamic dealer training events in line with launch plans. Specific areas of responsibility include production infrastructure, venue allocation, product drives, delegate management and transfers.
c. Day-to-day management of the Live Event supporting team to ensure delivery in timely and cost effective manner.
d. Oversee agency appointment and day-to-day management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Previous experience of managing large and small scale events within the automotive or luxury sector advantageous.
* Experience in coordinating and facilitating regular event forums with stakeholders to support event project management
* Hands on approach and excellent Project Management skills
* Ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the organisation
* Excellent command of the English language and good experience of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work well under pressure in a small team
* Previous experience of working with agencies
* Previous experience of managing budgets
* Ability to work unsupervised with a fully self-disciplined approach to reporting
* Demonstrative in standard setting with a keen attention to detail
* Knowledge and experience of project managing large Corporate Event Programmes
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office
