The Role:
Main Goals & Objectives:
Co-ordination of all Global export and import requirements for the Aftersales warehouse & Logistics operation. Use specialist technical skills and data analysis to drive continuous improvement activities.
Working within a team of Logistics Coordinators and third party supplier personnel.
Day-to-day working relationships with freight agents, parcel carriers, Chamber of Commerce, warehouse operations team, Aftersales quality, Dealer support team, and dealers.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of Export / import shipments
a. Identification and creation of legally compliant documentation for receipt / despatch.
b. Create export documentation to ensure consignments are compliant to all applicable transportation and export legislation, to 60+ countries.
c. Selection of appropriate carrier for the consignment, considering service level requirements and cost.
d. Identification and resolution of issues in real time to ensure customer satisfaction (dealer).
e. Co-ordinate inbound and outbound carriage arrangements of Parts & Accessories, Marketing collateral, branded goods and hazardous (dangerous) goods with nominated carriers.
f. Ensure Parts are classified for export in accordance with HMRC requirements.
g. Ensure parts master data is compliant for all import, export, receiving and despatch data processing.
h. Authorise shipment of Non Parts & Accessories consignments.
i. Authority to refuse consignments that fail to conform to legislative, or freight agent requirements.
j. Signatory for all export related authentication, in accordance with Regulatory bodies
k. Accredited Signatory (Legal) for Dangerous goods documentation.
l. Advise Bentley personnel in requirements for Dangerous goods.
m. Authorised to "Stop" shipment for non-compliant Aviation security shipments.

2. Analysis of Transport & Packaging costs and performance
a. Challenge and resolve discrepancies with regard to costs and service.
b. Identify and resolve issues with delivery commitments, real time.
c. Review and approve invoices for consignments with authority level.
3. Drive continuous improvement
a. Data analysis of process and cost.
b. Process and systems utilisation to deliver exemplary service, whilst reducing cost and time.
c. Warehouse and process error reduction.
d. Develop process and cost improvements within the Logistics environment.

4. Review, Authorisation and release of Dealer credits
a. Approve / reject goodwill payments.
b. Identify areas for audit.
c. Ensure dealer payments in a timely manner.
d. Review against policy, authorise and release for payment, dealer credit requests
e. Resolve consignment queries with third party providers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience within an export-shipping environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work & deliver in a time sensitive operation
* Strong communication skills
* Good Computer literacy.

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
* Advanced working Knowledge of POPIMS.
* Working Knowledge of SAP.
