The Role:
The Mulliner function are responsible for the delivery of products to meet our most discerning customer requirements, through Model Derivatives, Limited Editions, Special Vehicles and individual Bespoke Customisation and Personalisation actions.

This contract position is responsible for ensuring that Mulliner manufacturing requirements are defined and delivered in support of the Mulliner business plan, operating across the spectrum of the client mainstream and Mulliner bespoke processes & systems where necessary. This includes supporting both new project introductions and/or series operations.

Scope of Services:
Work within Mulliner PEP to ensure timely completion of all Manufacturing based deliverables through new project phases:
- Manufacturing feasibility - Influence design / engineering to ensure manufacturing feasibility concerns are identified and resolved appropriately to support functional deliverables
- Processes & facilities - Work in conjunction with mainstream areas to support manufacturing process, facility and equipment development activities.
- New parts introduction - Work in conjunction with mainstream Logistics areas to ensure timely delivery of parts through Parts Club activities and new parts introduction & integration processes.
- Pre-production builds - Support build phases to ensure successful identification and resolution of vehicle build concerns.
- Develop & mature internal Mulliner requirements to support overall integration and delivery where necessary
- Manage Key Performance Indicators to support department and project status reporting at key project milestones

Work in conjunction with Bespoke processes to deliver vehicle requirements outside of mainstream / released parts environment:
- Support all vehicle requirements where mainstream system integration is not possible
- Develop & operate processes to deliver bespoke feature content, including Personal Commissioning Guide (PCG) feature & trim configuration and other specific bespoke requirements
- Support all Mulliner bespoke Production & Logistic processes and team operations
- Manage Key Performance Indicators to support bespoke delivery reporting

Work in conjunction with Mulliner Classic and Coachbuilding processes to deliver vehicles to customers in line with project requirements
- Work with external suppliers to define build strategies for low volume manufacturing specific to individual projects
- Plan all sub-assembly and final vehicle builds including assembly sequences, facility layout, equipment & tools and labour usage requirements
- Co-ordinate actual builds including parts availability, work sequence and labour usage. This will include bespoke customer requirements
- Co-ordinate all vehicle static & dynamic buy off activities including optimisation to achieve quality standards
- Manage Key Performance Indicators to support project status reporting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Working within a Manufacturing Engineering or similar environment
- Working within a cross-functional project based environment
- Working within a multi-skilled team environment
- Flexibility to take on varied challenges within a constantly changing project environment
- Strong Customer / supplier engagement skills across a range of internal and external interfaces
- MS Office proficient
