The Role:
Responsible for Organisational and Strategic topics across the client including Project Management for the Transformation Programme.
Organisation Design and grading - Taking a strategic view and informed approach on the organisation structure and job roles required in each function. With close liaison to Group; responsibility for Job Evaluation processes, evaluation and setting at Management levels, advising HR Operations and Business areas on all topics of organisational design.
Developing and setting processes, key stakeholder management, and project management coordination for initiatives such as: Strategic Workforce Planning, functional resource levelling, Process Optimisation in indirect areas, and wider business transformational topics.

Organisational Design / Management Job Evaluation
- Accountable for the organisational design process across the client (structure, and Job Evaluation at management grades)
- Takes a strategic and informed approach on the organisation structure and job roles required in each function. Implements correct controls and processes, ensuring structures have minimal layers and optimal spans of control. E.g. to increase communication flow and efficiency. Organisation structure is aligned to the company strategy and future business model along with a close link to functional strategies and objectives, with the appropriate management:tarif balance adhered to
- Working closely / partnering with HR operations and Directors, sets and coordinates the internal processes for job evaluation at Management grades. Guidelines and quality standards are met considering both current and future conditions
- Role is acknowledged in the business as the key gateway to Organisational Structure change and should influence respective functions to take a holistic and future focused view. Role is a key knowledge holder taking a theoretic approach in the subject area and as such should focus on upskilling HR and the wider business on best practice and associated strategies
- Pre-grading of job profiles in advance of submission to Organisational Dept.
- Member of Organisation Steering Committee as required dealing with resource and structural requests / requirements. Committee preparation responsibilities with HR Controlling
- Recognised organisation partner for Group and represents client in various applicable Group forums.

Lead projects for People department in line with 2018 Business
Transformation Programme in time-scale of up to 2022
- 2018 focus of developing, setting and coordinating the process around resource levelling and redistribution of headcount / resource in all departments in line with company and functional strategies, including working closely with Talent & Development and HR Operations teams to set and lead strategies to shape the future organisation
- Strategic Workforce Planning responsibility across the client. Project Management, leading implementations, developing the process and supporting its embedding. Process established and embedded that, at a business and functional level; deliver Capability / Capacity requirements and intervention strategies. Ensure areas are coached and supported through this process
- Leading role in Process Optimisation approach (for indirect areas). Process setting, development and operationalising responsibility across the client supporting defined business areas
- Resource steering management in line with business KPIs
- Transformation KPI reporting and Board reporting.

Strategic Transformation and other projects
- Projects and focusses defined with Head of Strategy, Organisation and Transformation
- Recognised deputy for Head of SOT in client Strategy Circle
- Development and creation of respective Board level and Group documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Organisational Development professional with knowledge of current organisation trends e.g. agile
 Experience in Process Optimisation programmes
 Strong cross-functional relationship building, influencing and change management skills essential to gain support of and manage multiple stakeholders
 Excellent communications skills, in particular with high level presentation skills
 Proven ability to solve complex / strategic problems across all areas and for cross Group topics
 Strong influencing coaching and mentoring skills
 Strong financial and business awareness
 Experience of leading / implementing strategic projects and cross functional projects
 Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning: resource planning, capacity / capability evaluation, 'fit for purpose' organisation
 Proven ability to operate at a Strategic level including Board and Director Level deliveries
 Proven ability to work on own initiative with excellent planning and organ

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Previous experience working in a unionised environment
 Working level German language
 Experience in Agile Working methodologies
