The Role:
Main Goals & Objectives:
Responsible for the procurement of prototype and pre-series electrical components for Electrical Engineering, which includes management of deliveries and interfacing with Logistics and suppliers. Responsible for the management and short term usage of the Electrical Engineering fleet.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Parts Procurement
* Procurement of parts which may be of varying maturity levels, including prototype, pre-series, current production, etc.
* Obtaining quotations for parts under direction from Feature Owners.
* Obtaining parts in line with Feature Owner requirements, to support their testing needs or pre-series build supply.
* Sourcing and obtaining parts for up and coming test events.
* Sourcing and obtaining parts for up and coming drive events.
* Supply of parts for the engineering fleet/LabCar when required.
* Working closely with the all functions within Electrical Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing and Engineering Workshop.

2. Fleet Co-Ordination
* Create and update day to day vehicle usage plans for the EE fleet on a rolling monthly basis.
* Manage and respond to ad-hoc vehicle requests.
* Raise vehicle transport requests for EE when required.
* Raise Whole Vehicle workshop requests for vehicle updates, maintenance and servicing.
* Generate log books for newly registered EE fleet vehicles.
* To have comprehensive knowledge of the fleet vehicle whereabouts.
* Maintain and update the current EE fleet profile and booking systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Appropriate experience working in the Automotive Industry.
* Good working knowledge of integrated business IT systems for BoM and procurement.
* Good working knowledge and experience of typical business systems and electronic ordering.
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Working knowledge of vehicle electrical content (desirable).
* Good organisation skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:
* Appropriate financial or business management qualification.
* Qualified to a minimum of HND in engineering or a related subject.
* German language knowledge would be advantageous.
