The Role:
Our client are seeking compliance and documentation engineers to join the powertrain department in order to ensure compliance in the development of powertrain software releases.

Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure compliance in the development of all Powertrain software released
* Ensuring all powertrain releases are carried out according to client processes
* Enable and maintain users' roles and rights within the Powertrain42 (PT42) software release tool
* Update and maintain the PT42 Master-Plan ensuring all projects are correctly loaded (E.g. correct emissions class, power level, torque, release timing etc.) and that they align with the Master Software release plan, in preparation for the software release
* Keep abreast of the regular PT42 system software updates and maintain/update systems and personnel training requirements accordingly
* Provide direct problem solving support and assistance to the software release teams, liaising with the IT team when required
* Support, as required, the regular PT42 organised meetings.
* Provide regular structured training and technical guidance
* Conduct internal team audits of each process to ensure all steps are actioned correctly and thereby are compliant with business requirements.
* Review and update the associated processes as part of ongoing continuous improvement objectives.
* Liaise with colleagues in supporting regular effectiveness tests in all of the aforementioned processes
* Ensure compliance documentation is uploaded to the relevant server
* Facilitate the compilation of relevant documentation to support certification sign-off process
* Liaise with the technical function owners to gather, review and sign off the relevant control strategy descriptions
* Represent the department at associated forums and ensure all open points are addressed and communicated as required
* Prepare department for sign off meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* PC Literate
* Good communication skills
* Experience working in a process orientated environment desirable
* Ability to review technical documentation with a good eye for detail
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND in Engineer
