The Role:

ISO/TS16949 experience is essential

Delivery of the Business Process yearly audit plan, covering all business processes and their compliance to the certified company Quality standard. Responsible for the raising of and following up and any non-conformances and their associated closure actions, validation of these and systemic check including evidence of closure. Co-ordinating process advisors across the business and managing external audit bodies including VW group functions. Consulting to the business areas to support continual improvement in business processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Maximum of 5 relating to products, services etc.)

1. Delivery of Business Process audits
a) Planning and co-ordination of all necessary resources for business process audit
b) Preparation of previous evidence and documentation for audit
c) Communicating and co-ordinating the business area for the audit

2. Raising and Reporting of Non-conformities
a) Audit of business process to a standard
b) Raising of any non-conformities to the standard
c) Accurate recording and reporting of the audit including sufficient documentation
d) Feedback to all levels of any issue found including all relevant facts, details and observations

3. Problem Solving and Non-Conformity Closure
a) Supporting and consulting with functions to support problem solving and root cause analysis for any non-conformities
b) Remaining impartial in any investigation of the issues
c) Validating any evidence of the closure and ensuring that the issue is closed by using various methods (documentation, checks, systemic validation)
d) Acting as a consultant where required to improve the business processes

4. External Audit Support
a) Planning and co-ordinating for external audits
b) Preparatory audits and self-checks for business areas before external audit
c) Supporting and guiding external audits
d) Reporting and following up on external audit findings
e) Supporting the business in finding feedback and preparing external audit feedback
f) Acting as delegated auditors for external audits to review and close findings

5. Continual Improvement and Process Advisor Network
a) Supporting and developing the cross functional process advisor network
b) Interfacing to the functional Quality representatives to support the business processes and continual improvement
c) Sharing best practise and continual improvements with the network

Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums
Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
Ability to solve problems
Experience in various functional processes (Eng, Sales, Quality, Production)
Ability to apply standard methodology to new business processes
Fact finding skills and ability to evaluate evidence and apply to business process or problem
High accuracy to detail
Ability to work in a methodical way and apply a consistent standard

Extensive experience of Bentley business processes
Experience of VW processes and guidelines
ISO/TS16949 & VDA standards and guidelines
Business processes across all functions

Lead Auditor qualification in recognised Quality Management System
GCSE or equivalent in English Literature/Language and Mathematics
Competent at intermediate level or above in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
German language knowledge/qualification highly preferable
Experience in a planning and organising role
