The Role:
The GRC Specialist's key responsibilities are to drive and execute on various GRC initiatives and programmes (existing and new) within the business; working in a small department with/reporting to the Head of GRC.

Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain/contribute to the effective operation of existing risk processes within the business (e.g. annual systemic risk process and quarterly operational process)
* Develop/support new concepts and improvements to current risk processes; support risk initiatives and related requests from Bentley's parent company (VW)
* Develop/rollout various core elements of our CMS (Compliance Management System); including initiatives relating to communication & awareness; compliance risk identification; whistleblowing program etc.
* Deliver/facilitate Compliance training periodically where/when identified
* Act as consultant to business on compliance and risk matters
* Work on a range of further GRC related projects on an ad hoc basis; according to business needs and changing priorities (incl. GDPR)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* 5-7 years experience within a similar role within a large international organisation
* Tangible experience and record of delivery in similar risk and compliance roles
* Knowledge in the application / deployment of project / programme management tools and techniques

* Ability to work independently with or without direction and/or supervision.
* Ability to prioritize, multitask and work under time pressure; flexibility and adaptability in approach.
* Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure and ability to maintain confidentially.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people / roles.
* Keen to accept responsibility and personal accountability; high level of self-initiative.
* Motivated to drive continuous improvement
* Strong solution/results orientation and ability to make decisions
* Ability to react quickly to change, working in a fast pac
