The Role:
This position is within the Sales and Marketing function and reports into the Director Brand Lifestyle. The business objective is to extend the clients core business by providing important lifestyle brand-positioning, supplemental income to support the core automotive activity, offering lifestyle products and experiences to customers and to further enhance the reach of the brand.

The Client Collection is a brand extension area. The sales distribution of the Client Collection today mainly focuses on the client Retailer organisation, but also explores e-commerce and selected retail and franchise activities globally. While the distribution through the client Retailer organisation sits within the responsibility of the Aftersales Team, this role is to lead the strategy, the focus and the management to the commercial activities of the client Collection outside the Retailer organisation. This role is to maximise sales and profit potential through existing motor shows, live events, client on site retail, and to capitalise on the opportunity of online retailing. The role is also responsible to explore the potential of the client Collection with strategically important wholesale customers and to support the Aftersales Team with the distribution through the client Retailer organisation.

This position is also responsible for the commercial inputs into the financial and strategic departmental planning round processes over a five year window and has day to day commercial input into the Profit & Loss account. The role includes responsibility for analysing the key data on all products for on and offline communication as well as delivering product training to Regional Teams and global Retailer network where needed. Forecasting, stock management and product lifecycle planning are key elements of this role.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Commercial:
 Developing a commercial strategy for the Bentley Collection through existing but also new distribution channels (retail and franchise) to support growth and consider opportunities to set up additional routes to market outside the Bentley Retailer
network.
 Responsible for the revenue and contribution of Bentley Collection through all sales channels outside the Bentley Retailer organization (online, onsite, events & motor shows, potentially retail and franchise).
 Operation direct to customer at motor shows and live events internationally, incl. developing, organising and integrating a strategy to maximise profitability.
 Establishing and building strong relationship with the Aftersales Team, supporting them in delivering the Planning Round objectives for the Bentley Collection.
 Management of the Bentley on-site retail including staff
 Defining and leading a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales growth, defining the online shopping experience in line with the luxury sector.
 Responsible for planning, organising and leading sales activities to further increase revenue outside the Bentley Retailer organization.
 Working closely with the Marketing Manager to define Sales tools, Marketing campaigns and collateral needed to support with the delivery of the Commercial Strategy (including collating feedback from Aftersales Team from Retailer network).
 Developing tactical programmes & incentive programmes for onsite retailing and e-commerce.
 Evaluate the current retailing approach for events and motor shows.
 Develop a strategy that delivers the greatest commercial benefit to the business and ensures that brand extension opportunities are capitalised on and that the brand is represented in an appropriate manner.

2. Creating, establishing and managing the Bentley Collection planning and order process
 Establishing a pre-order and planning process with the Aftersales Team.
 Generating timely market forecasts to enable Purchasing to order appropriate stock levels.
 Managing the ordering process in the system.
 Setting up and establishing of a global pricing strategy for all actual and potential new sales channels

3. Global Retailer Network
 Building strong relationship with the Aftersales Team to fully support the sales of Bentley Collection through the Retailer organisation.
 Providing tools and programmes to facilitate training the Aftersales Team on the range and the USP's of the products, and the commercial benefit they can deliver.
 In conjunction with the commercial requirements deliver product training internally, to regional teams, as well as to Retailers.
 Supporting the Aftersales Team in solving product related issues with the Retailer network.
 In conjunction with the Marketing Manager develop, implement and regularly update e-learning module for Brand Lifestyle.
 In line with product lifecycle, stock and seasonal requirements, support the Marketing Manager with tactical campaigns.

4. Monitoring and development of business performance
 Establishing and providing detailed timely reports by sales channel (outside Retailers), best sellers / worst sellers, etc. to watch sales performance and to demonstrate market feedback to the Bentley Collection team for future developments.
 Working closely with Aftersales Team to get market feedback from Retailers.
 Analysis of future trends and sectors that could provide new business categories and routes to market that increase opportunities for Bentley and then take forward.
 Development and delivery of a comprehensive sales strategy to increase online presence and to increase sales online as well as onsite.

5. Product Lifecycle, Delivery & Stock Management
 Actively manage stock in line with agreed financial and commercial KPI's, ensuring availability and balancing product lifecycle requirements.
 Manage stock of all current and old products according to agreed stock levels, phase-out times and new introductions.
 Provide information on delivery times (delivery tracker) to Marketing Manager.

 Ability to build cross functional relationships internally and externally to support business objectives
 Project management and negotiation skills
 Strong organizational skill set & high level of self-motivation
 Confident communicator

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
Experience of project management and negotiation is important combined with experience in a results focused commercial environment. Excellent communication skills are a core requirement.
A sound understanding of luxury brand management and the retail consumer goods markets is necessary as is an entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision for the application of the brand in a non-automotive environment.
