The Role:
Purpose of this role is to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours of Managers, Leaders and identified talent across the organisation in line with performance frameworks, business goals and Volkswagen Group Development standards.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Work with Functional Managers to identify current and future capability/competence requirements of Managers/Leaders across the organisation
a. Consult with HR / Managers to confirm development requirements
b. Use technical expertise to advise HR/Managers
c. Develop and agree clear plans reflecting functional and business needs

2. Use technical expertise to create and design learning and development solutions
a. Identify individual and business measures/outcomes for solutions
b. Work with Volkswagen Academy & HR Heads within Bentley to design learning solutions for talent, behavioural and leadership skills across the business - workshops, programmes, coaching, development resources
c. Utilise internal topic experts to support knowledge share
d. Source external suppliers as necessary
e. Work with relevant leadership & management institutes to align/accredit activities.
f. Work with Volkswagen Academy to ensure implementation of and alignment to Group standard talent and leadership programmes

3. Implement innovative learning and development solutions
a. Deliver and facilitate internal training for behavioural, leadership/talent skills
b. Deliver VW Group standard leadership and talent programmes
c. Co-ordinate process & candidates for VW International Talent Programmes
d. Coach leaders to improve own/others' performance
e. Manage external suppliers to deliver Management coaching & development

4. Evaluates learning and development
a. Evaluate in line with agreed measures and outcomes reflecting agreed targets
b. Identifies and implements improvements
c. Ensure learning delivers improvements in performance of leaders and managers - individually and at business level

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience:
Experience of identifying development needs for Managers and Leaders
Experience of delivering to Managers at all levels
Experience of 1:1 coaching

Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong influencing ability
Basic German Language

Practical & Technical Knowledge:
Assess capability requirements of Managers and Leaders across the business
Leadership Development - design, develop new solutions. Implement and deliver new and existing
Talent Development - identify talent needs, uses coaching and structured programmes for development
Design and Delivery expertise - for all levels and on a range of topics - leadership, behaviours, managing self
Supplier Management

Recognised training qualification is essential - CIPD/Equivalent
Recognised coaching qualification is preferred
