The Role:
To Support the Chassis Integration Function in KPi delivery, Technical Administration, Component Procurement & Tracking and assistance with project planning.
To assist in the creation of presentations, creation of KPi reports, timing plans and various other project reports.
To represent the Integration Function on a project technical basis where required.
To maintain accurate, comprehensive and accessible filing systems of all Integration Function documentation.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Generate weekly KPI (Key Project Indicator) achievement reporting pack for the chassis department.
Collation of data such as PDS (Product Design Specification), Bid Spec, SRD (Structure Release Document), BOM (Bill of Material), B Release, BMG submission, KPM tracking, PDM status, Weight status, Engineering Change etc.
Load and maintain TEVON & PVR Database for the Chassis Department.
Co-ordination & Monitoring of platform changes in AVON.

2. Supporting the FPM (Functional Project Managers) to plan and monitor the PEP (Product Emergence Process) for functional projects - providing and maintaining a 3 month look forward planning tool. Provide Training to functional areas on the PEP reporting process to maintain a consistent approach across all projects.

3. Supporting the Integration HoD & FPMs in gathering functional data from EF/B, EF/S & EF/V, preparing data analysis reports to support PEP gateway deliverables, understanding detail in order to summarise and present to Internal & External cross-functional reviews meetings.

4. Create, modify and distribute presentations, prepare Agenda & meeting minutes (i.e. Integration/ EF Circle - Chassis Technical Review).

5. Responsibility for EF Dashboard and EF Shared Folder, maintaining key project information & filing and distribution of technical documentation.
Fuel Card responsibility for EF department / raising purchase orders against receipts.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good communication skills - able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Able to work independently.
Experience in data analysis, creating and handling project management documentation
Process and facilitation skills, developing task instructions and processes impacting on all engineering functions
Previous roles as Project assistant or Engineering technical assistant would be advantageous
Good organisational skills with respect to document creation and storage
Must be able to create, modify and manage Word, Excel and PowerPoint Documentation
Ability to use Project Planning tools such as MS. Project to document project plans is an advantage
Understanding of the engineering deliverables and issues involved with automotive development
