The Role

* Support the Director and ensure delegated tasks are completed using influence across Group contacts, the function, and other functions as required to complete tasks.
* Leads and delivers key strategic projects for functional area and across functions. Key role in facilitating development of functional strategy and first line targets and objectives including alignment of planning round premises, brand group strategy wider strategies.
* Leads and delivers functional planning round, functional efficiency programmes and functional budgets. Recommends and leads functional strategic capacity and cost planning changes (forecasting) in line with company strategic targets.
* Manage, support and facilitate the flow of Quality performance information between the Quality Director and the functional first line and support the flow of Quality performance information to the Board and Group.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinates, leads, runs, and minutes and manage open actions for appropriate high-level meetings relating to future Strategy for Quality department

* Manages the Quality functional strategy, the deliverables owner by Quality and working closely with the PMO office to ensure transparency of the actions at all levels

Lead and deliver strategic functional projects for Quality within the function as well as projects that are cross functional

* Facilitate development of functional strategy, Brand Group synergy projects for Quality and the associated targets and objectives.
* Assist Quality first line and support other Colleagues with strategic project deliverables and associated requirements
* Attend and represent Quality at high level strategy reviews
* Prepare key business and external presentations and communications for the Quality Director as required, including Board meeting materials and conferences.

Manage and produce reports for Group, Brand Group, CEO and Board on Quality key deliverables

* Design and manage the Quality suite of reports to support functional performance indicators and strategy status
* Responsible for managing and reporting the status of functional financial operating performance and ensure alignment to business result performance (headcount, operating budget and site investment, efficiency programmes and any conflicts/resource gaps).

Functionally lead and deliver planning round submissions, Board directed efficiency programmes for Finance/Board approval

* Responsible for managing the complete functional review process, making recommendations to Quality Director and delivering creating inputs for Board approval.
* Ensure departmental submission is aligned to key planning round premises of Company.

Overall functional performance and functional approval responsibility for Quality overhead costs and site capital investment including workflow approvals (direct budget holder and / or escalation from Quality first line budget holders)

* Agree and control forecasting content with Quality first line and gain approval of Head of Finance for Quality's submissions.
* Evaluate business cases for Quality and advise Director in line with business climate/strategic targets and Brand Group synergies.
* Ensure all headcount and payroll requests/changes are in line with approved financial budgets and corporate/functional strategic direction with the Quality Director including making associated strategic and financially based recommendations to Quality Director.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

* Demonstrable experience of operating at a managerial/strategic level
* Strategy development and delivery experience
* Proven project management skills and experience
* Proven ability of communicating and influencing at all levels
* Demonstrable skills and experience of producing and providing inputs to a Board level standard
* Demonstrable skills and experience of data analytics and drawing conclusions
* German speaking/written preferable
* Demonstrable experience of working with financial and economic data and reports and understanding including profit and loss structures, balance sheet and business case evaluation/construction

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.

* Good understanding and knowledge of all functional systems/processes
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Business / economics or associated related degree
* Appropriate professional qualification/post graduate qualification
